Novel Technology Development

To support the development of novel technology on rapid testing for chemical and microbiological contaminants in food, FSTRC will continue to serve the government agencies as well as food industries locally and globally in developing biosensor and rapid testing kits for chemical hazards and food-borne pathogen in food, deriving strategies for food authentication as well as strategies to increase nutrients in aquaculture.

Our research team has extensive experiences in developing advanced methodologies (such as optical bio- and chemosensors, highly selective chemical probes, ambient mass-spectrometry, imaging, and neuroblastoma cell line system) for high-throughput and rapid detection of natural toxins, environmental contaminants and harmful substances present in food and food products.

We are now offering services on the development of rapid test kits for chemicals & microbiological contaminants in food.
