Tensile Test

Tensile testing is an important materials science test in which a sample is subjected to a controlled tension until failure. The results from the test are used to predict how a material will react under other types of forces.  This information is then used for material selection and quality control. There are four tensile testing machines purchased from the US and EU, which fulfill international testing standards, such as ASTM A370 and EN 10002-1. Thousands of tests of different metals have been successfully completed with the equipment, giving significant confidence in both accuracy and reliability. These testing specimens can be cut from sheet due to the thickness of the shape's web, flange, or stem.
